A 15ct gold, opal and diamond dress ring, arranged as a centre cabochon opal within a surround of ten small graduated rough cut diamonds, the shoulders each further set with a small opal, 3.2g, size N Condition Report / Extra Information We would estimate diamond weight at approx 0.2ct.One small opal cracked, otherwise good.We would age at approx second ¼ of 20th century.
Silver (c.1912) Black Opal Arts and Crafts Brooch by Edward Spencer (1872-1938), Principle designer at the Artificers Guild (1901-1938). Measuring approx 22.4mm x 43.25mm wide, with a superb black opal approx 20mm x 25.5mm wide, displaying Reds, Blues, Turquoise, Greens, Pinks and Purples. Nestled in a twisted wire border filled in with Ivy leaves and tendrils, typical of Edward Spencers work. Weight approx 8.4g (including attached safety chain).
