A Victorian opal and diamond ring, the graduated oval cabochons with pairs of old brilliant cuts between, totalling approximately 0.6carats, the shank inscribed inside with a Viscount coronet with monogram beneath, another monogram and 'Aug 28 1845', finger size L, weight 5.3g gross Condition report: The ring is unmarked so we do not know what carat of gold it is. The ring must have be altered in size at some point and there is a mark to the inside on the ring. The stones have light surface scratching but are not chipped. The diamonds are good with some small inclusions only visible under a glass.
