A Belle Époque gold and platinum opal and diamond bracelet, composed of old-brilliant and rose-cut diamond set articulated panels, with seven collet-set graduated opals, circa 1900, length 16.5cm Provenance: property of Viscount Harberton, by descentCondition Report: Gross weight 24.02 grams. There is one rose-cut diamond set panel missing from one side of the centre opal. Centre opal measures approximately 9.0mm diameter, 4.6mm depth. Smallest opal measures approximately 5.8mm diameter, 2.0mm depth. Diamonds with an estimated total weight of approximately 2.00 carats. Clasp is secure. Some minor scratches to the surfaces of some of the opals. General tarnish and light surface wear to mounting commensurate with age.
