A Victorian 18 Carat Gold Opal and Diamond Three Stone Ring, the oval cabochon opal flanked by an old cut diamond on each side in yellow claw settings to a plain polished shank, total estimated diamond weight 1.00 carat approximately, finger size M The ring is in good condition. It is hallmarked with a maker`s mark obliterated by a sizing piece, Birmingham, 1868. The approximate qualities of the diamonds are; colour J/K/L, clarity SI2/I1/I2. Gross weight 6.4 grams. An Early 20th Century Opal Necklace, an oval cabochon opal suspends a knife edge bar to a heart shaped cabochon opal, on a fine trace link chain, chain length 39.5cm, drop length 4.9cm The necklace is in good condition. The knife edge bar is a little out of shape. It fastens with a bolt ring catch, which is stamped `9C`, and in our opinion the necklace would test as gold. The opals are a green-blue colour in the main, with flashes of red. Gross weight 3.0 grams. CR made 13th December 2012
