Large and impressive opal and diamond ring, set with an Australian opal measuring approximately 18 mm x 11 mm, surrounded by brilliant cut diamonds in claw settings, 14ct yellow gold, ring size O With certificate of authenticity form Harlequin Opals Sydney Australia stating opal is natural and solid. Ring has had little wear. The opal is large and shallow, there appears to be a fault line/crack within the opal visible at certain angles. All claws and settings in vgc. Shank shows little wear.

A silver ring comprising a D-section hoop with vertically ribbed shoulders, scooped claw setting for an opal(?) tabular gemstone with incised border and two-line Kufic inscription. 15 grams, 31mm overall, 20.14mm internal diameter (approximate size British U 1/2, USA 10 1/4, Europe 23.15, Japan 22) (1 1/4"). Property of a Hampstead gentleman; from his family collection formed since the 1970s. Very fine condition.
