A contemporary Scottish Studio glass Vetro Maestro vase by Mike Hunter of Twists Glass, of globular footed form, internally decorated with two opal spiral lattachino motifs, alternating opal lattachino and ruby sunburst panels, opal and amethyst spiral threads and bands of amethyst, pink and citrine bands to the ground all cased in clear crystal, engraved signature, height 31cm.

WW1 Royal Navy casualty pair, awarded to J.8072 Signalman Eric Joseph Mitchener.To include: The 1914-15 Star, Victory Medal, and copies of research (location of BWM is unknown).Leading Signalman Mitchener was drowned when his ship, HMS Opal ran aground on the Clett of Crura, in Windrick Bay, on the east coast of South Ronaldsay in the Orkney Islands.It was headed back to Scapa Flow, along with another vessel, HMS Narborough (which also ran aground).Only one survivor was found from both vessels (William Sissons), who suggested that the wreck was caused by a navigational error by Opal’s captain.Included within the research papers are a facsimile photograph of Mitchener, plus the ships involved in the disaster.Condition: very good.The medals have some age related patina, and retain their orignal ribbons.
A vintage three stone carved half hoop 18 carat yellow gold opal and diamond ring. Set with three opal cabochons, a total approximate carat weight of 1.04 carats, further set with four round eight cut diamonds with a combined approximate weight of 0.08 carats. The ring has a carved scrolling gallery flowing down to a tapering shank. Hallmarked: MV, London, London, 1958, 750. Accompanied by green leather ring box. Size N. Gross weight 3g
