A multi-gem hinged bangle - Of openwork foliate design set with opal, rubies, turquoise, emeralds and seed pearls - Accompanied by a valuation for insurance dated 31st October 1991 stating the new replacement value as £3000, also stating the bangle is 14ct gold - Inner diameter 6cms - Weight approx 25.3gms Condition Report: Fair - With some dents and scratches to the bangle - Clasp not secure - Slight cracks to opal - Minor surface abrasion to other gems - Some gems deficient.

JAMES POWELL WHITEFRIARS; a straw opal fan shaped vase designed by Harry Powell, the shaped oval bowl above double twist stem and slightly hammered folded foot, height 22.5cm. A similar flared fan vase can be seen in EVANS, ROSS & WERNER; WHITEFRIARS GLASS, JAMES POWELL & SONS OF LONDON, page 60. CONDITION REPORT: Where the stem meets the foot there is a slightly dark scratched line running halfway around the base of the stem, otherwise appears good with no further obvious signs of faults, damage or restoration.
JAMES POWELL WHITEFRIARS; a blue opal flared vase with applied lime green spiral trail decoration, the shaped rim above tapering main body to plain clear foot, height 18.5cm. CONDITION REPORT: Towards the base of the spiral decoration, there are two areas of this decoration missing, 3cm and 1cm, otherwise appears good with no further obvious signs of faults, damage or restoration.
