An 18 ct yellow gold fire opal and diamond ring, opal weight approximately 6.75 carats, size O/P (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The ring is in first class condition with no issues. There are no scratches to the opal. The shank is in very good order. The ring appears to have barely been worn.
An 18 ct gold opal and diamond ring, size P. CONDITION REPORT: Weight 2.8 grams. The opals appear to be in generally good condition with no significant chips, damage or abrasions. None of the stones are loose. The claws however are all showing signs of wear. One is completely missing and three are detached from the opals. There are several that are also worn down and missing the tops of the crowns.
Three gold rings, 18 ct gold opal, size J, 18 ct gold five stone diamond, size I and 9 ct gold hardstone, size N/O. CONDITION REPORT: The opal is dull and has surface scratches. The setting is however sound as is the shank. The diamonds are not particularly bright. The five stone ring is structurally sound with no wear to the shank. The diamonds are old cut and not particularly bright. The ring however does need a clean. The ring with the blue stone is scuffed and scratched and the surface a little matt. The claws are all sound and the shank in good condition.
An opal and diamond cluster ring, the 17mm long oval cabochon opal, displaying good predominantly red and orange fire, in a border of twenty-six round brilliant cut diamonds, to a plain tapered shank stamped '18ct', size N This ring is in sound and secure condition, the opal has some (loupe-visible only) light scratching over its surface, the diamonds are lively and make a good foil for the opal.
