A collection of Victorian and later jewellery to include a Victorian yellow metal turquoise set necklace of domed form, together with a further turquoise set necklace with filigree decoration, two pairs of turquoise set earrings, an opal set necklace, etc CONDITION REPORTS The pendant has all tassels, the earrings appear in good condition, although all pieces in this lot could be cleaned, see images for more details
An 18 carat gold opal and diamond set ring, size P, total weight approx 4.9 g CONDITION REPORTS Other than slight surface scratching to the gold conducive to age and use, there does not appear to be any visable damage to the ring. See additional images of opal against white packground. Diameter of opal approx 6mm dia x 3mm deep. The diamonds appear to have several inclusions/flaws when viewed with a 30x lens. These inclusions not obvious with the naked eye. The colour appears to be very clear and bright with the naked eye difficult to see any yellowing. Dimaonds appear otherwise in good condition though one with slight scratching to one facet, the opal appears from the naked eye to be in good order though under a 30x lens has minor scratching to the surface

Each shoulder is set with shallow foil backed Garnets (one missing). Size ‘Q’ UK, ‘8’ USA. (2) Victorian gold Marquis Shaped Ring measuring approx: 22mm x 15.5mm across and set with a Sherry Citrine approx: 15mm x 9mm across surrounded by 20 small Seed Pearls. Size ‘N’ UK, ‘6½â€˜ USA.
A BLACK OPAL RING, the central oval opal framed by twenty six diamonds, set in platinum on an 18ct gold band, ring size R Condition Report – 1.6cm x 1cm, in my opinion it is a solid opal, not a triplet, it is open back mounted, it is not a plain black back, you can see an unpolished opal back.
A 9CT GOLD OPAL MOUNTED BRACELET with fourteen oval opal links, length; 19cm (including the clip), weight; 12gCondition report – Condition good, mounts & links okay, no visible chips or cracks to the opals. They are open back mounted, the backs not black, but opal, so would say they are solid opal.
