It is not hallmarked or stamped. There is evidence that the shank has been resized. The approximate qualities of the diamonds are; colour H/I/J, clarity SI1/SI2. Gross weight 3.2 grams. The opal with a matt appearance and surface wear. It is stamped '18ct' and in our opinion would test as gold. The approximate qualities of the diamonds are; colour H/I/J, clarity SI1/SI2. An opal set prospector's brooch, modelled as a shovel, pick and bucket set with rough opal, measures 5cm long The brooch is in good condition.
