Colt SAA 1873, U.S. Artillerie, Fertigung 1891Kal. .45 Long Colt, Nr. 137774, matter, ein wenig narbiger Lauf, Felder/Züge in Ordnung, Länge 5½" . Sechsschüssig. Fertigung 1891. Bescheinigung über Nichtbeschuss für Sammler. Laufoberseite mit stark verputzter Firmierung "COLT'S PT. F.A. MFG. CO. HARTFORD CT. U.S.A.". Länge 30,5 cm.WBK: Achtung - ErlaubnispflichtigZustand: II - IIIKeywords: Erste GenerationColt SAA 1873, U.S. Artillerie, Fertigung 1891Cal. .45 Long Colt, SN. 137774, 5½" barrel, slightly frosted bore, decent rifling. Six shots. Manufacturing date 1891. No modern proof marks. On the barrel top barely legible "COLT'S PT. F.A. MFG. CO. HARTFORD CT. U.S.A.". On the left side of the frame 2-line patent data, next to "U.S." mark for government property. On top of the serial number ahead of the trigger guard the inspector's mark "RAC" for Rinaldo A. Carr of the US Ordnance Department. The bottom of the barrel marked "D.F.C." for ordnance sub-inspector David F. Clark, and underneath the ejection rod housing marked "C", most likely for A.P. Casey. These two marks indicate that the gun was originally made with a 7" barrel for the cavalry, but later shortened to its current length for artillery use. "P" (Proof) on barrel. On the back of the cylinder also marked "RAC". The trigger guard with assembly number 6936, the bottom strap with a slightly deviating serial number "136/731", as is common with artillery models. Traces of the original bluing on the cylinder, else the entire gun with grayish patina. Dark walnut grip in very good condition, top right marked "CJ/A(?)81", probably another inspector's mark. Mechanically sound.
