A set of eight 20th Century North Country rush seat shaped ladder back chairs on turned legs united by stretchers, on pad and ball feet (8 plus 2 carvers), carvers 58 cm wide x 49 cm deep x 99.5 cm high CONDITION REPORTS All 8 chairs are ok, have some general wear and tear to including some light rubbing to the varnish on the very tops the backs and arms of the two carvers. Signed fully jewelled mechanical crown wind movement calibre C.41 number 1796788, case, 22mm diameter, verso snap on with brushed finish, signed interior numbered 1855085 with London import marks for 18ct gold in addition to Swiss marks and Poinçon de Maître, Hammer Head number 117 for Gunther & Co SA, to a 9ct gold tapered mesh link bracelet terminating in a two stage fold over ladder clasp, overall length 16.5cm, weight ex movement 9g and presented in the original liveried bottle-green case.
