Egyptian Remington rolling block rifle, chambered in .43 Egyptian, 35inch barrel fitted with folding ladder sight and bayonet bar secured by three barrel bands, no visible serial number.Section 58(2) antique / obsolete calibre, can be owned without a licence. Buyer must be over the age of 18, age verification ID will be required if the lot it to be posted out.128.5cm longCondition report: The rifle has a worn look generally. There is light pitting throughout and the woodwork has small knocks and dents. Action cocks and releases correctly with a strong mainspring. The rolling block locks up tightly without any play. The firing pin and extractor are present and appear to function as they should.The bore is very dirty but it has a strong rifling pattern present. There is some light pitting visible but nothing very deep. With a good clean the bore would improve.The rifle lacks a cleaning rod as well as a screw from the butt plate. One screw on the left side of the action has been completely chewed up and would need replacing for the gun to look its best. The buttstock has three spliced in repairs at the wrist, there are several patches of damage around the butt plate join.

Enfield .577 Snider cavalry carbine, 19inch barrel with folding ladder sight, crown VR lock dated 1862, MkII* breech, serial number 6744 to the breech block.Section 58 (2) antique / obsolete calibre, can be owned without a licence. Buyer must be over the age of 18, ID will be required if the lot is to be posted out.94cm long The action is good with a tight mainspring and good lock up. The bore has patches of pitting within the last five inches, this might improve with cleaning but will probably never be 100%. The rest of the bore is very good, bright and shiny without pitting. The gun has many small dents and marks, the stock is free from splits or repairs.

BSA first model Alexander Henry carbine, 22inch barrel chambered in .450 long as apposed to 577/450 as the later examples are, fitted with folding ladder sights, and stamped Henry Edinburgh 1641, the receiver stamped BSA& Co. Henrys Patent 2069, also numbered 503 to the top, the stock stamped 23?1 and bears circular cartouch with 1869 date.Section 58(2) antique / obsolete calibre, can be owned without a licence. Buyer must be over the age of 18, age verification ID will be required if the lot it to be posted out.Condition report: The action works correctly with a good mainspring. The stock has the usual knocks and marks but has a pleasing patina. There is an inlet square of wood surrounding the screw on the underside of the forend. The carbine has overall pitting to the metalwork, there have been some deeper patches of rust in places such as where the action meets the wood stock. Two screws heads on the underside of the action body have part sheared off. The bore still has a good rifling pattern present but has the same pitting throughout as seen on the outside of the gun.

Enfield Martini Henry IC1 artillery carbine, 21inch barrel fitted with folding ladder sights, secured by two barrel bands, one with bayonet lug, the action dated 1888 with VR and crown stamp, the reverse of the receiver and barrel stamped with sold out or service arrows, the stock with Birmingham War Department roundel and numerous issue stamps. With period leather sling.Section 58(2) antique / obsolete calibre, can be owned without a licence. Buyer must be over the age of 18, age verification ID will be required if the lot it to be posted out.Sword bayonet to match this carbine included later in the sale.96cm longCondition report: The action functions correctly. The bore has some light pitting throughout but a good rifling pattern remains. The exterior metalwork has some scattered pitting and some corrosion spots. The woodwork has numerous knocks, dents, and marks. The buttstock is slightly loose and could do with tightening up, the forend has small splits on the thinnest part close to where it meets the action.

Transvaal ZAR Steyr .577/450 Martini Henry, 32 inch barrel (drilled at the breech below the stock) fitted with folding ladder sights, and fitted into stock with two barrel bands one with bayonet lug, the action stamped with ZAR 4689 as well as Steyr 1883 crest which is repeated on the stock, the butt carved with owner's initials N P W and stamped with rifle serial number 4898 which is repeated on the action, barrel, and forend.Section 58(2) antique / obsolete calibre, can be bought with out a licence. Buyer must be over the age of 18 and ID will be requested if the gun is to be posted out to a home address.127cm long Condition report: The rifle chamber has been drilled with at least two possibly more (the forend pin is stuck and we cannot remove it to inspect the rifle further) holes. The action works correctly, The bore is good but has some scattered pitting similar to the exterior of the gun. The butt plate is heavily corroded, the woodwork has some scratches and dents but no splits or repairs. Lacking a cleaning rod.

Army & Navy Lee Speed .303 bolt action rifle, 24.5inch barrel fitted with sling loop, with adjustable two position foresight and rear sight graduated 100, 200 and 300 yards between three blades together with additional ladder sight, the action with magazine cut off, the bolt with dust cover engraved 'Army and Navy Co-operative Society Lim'd London' ten shot magazine with border engraving to match the rest of the rifle, chequered stock with horn end cap, blued steel butt plate with trap, serial number 22967.This particular rifle was originally delivered to the Army & Navy Gun Dept. on 8 November 1897 and was sold by them to a “Dr. White” on 20 January 1898.UK FIREARMS LICENCE WITH .303 RIFLE VARIATION OR RFD REQUIRED TO BUY THIS LOT.112cm longThe rifle is in very nice condition with a pleasing patina. The bore shows some wear around the throat area where the edges of the rifling are not as sharp as they once were, the rest of the rifling looks crisp and good with well-defined edges, there is a small amount of frosting to the lands but nothing significant. The bluing finish to the metalwork is all in good order with minor wear around the edges and high points and only the occasional scratch. There has been some corrosion to the magazine which has been cleaned off and left an pitted surface. There is a small amount of pitting to the butt plate. The action appears to function correctly. The stock has no splits or repairs, there are the odd few scratches but nothing defacing.
