A .52 calibre Sharps New Model 1859 Carbine, 22inch sighted barrel fitted with ramp and ladder rear sights, the lock plate marked R.S LAWRENCE PAT APRIL 12TH 1859 and C. SHARPS' PAT OCT 5TH 1852, half oiled stock incised with the initials L.L. , steel mounts, serial no. C17205 or 117205. Stock chipped and repaired in one place to the underside of the fore-end where it meets the action.

The stock carved with the initial H to one side and H-X on the other.
1796 Pattern Heavy Cavalry Officer's Ladder Hilt or undress sword, 86cm blade decorated with stands of arms, crowned GR cypher, Royal Arms and a cavalryman, retaining traces of original gilt finish, regulation pierced steel hilt with faceted back strap, cracked, ribbed leather covered wooden grip.
