Please Be Aware the first 10 lots of this auction are being sold on behalf of Dore Church - Please See Lot Images - Important Information Below Description: Lot 1 - The in-situ organ pipes - including the gilded exterior pipes visible in the vestry and south transept of the church and the internal pipes, which, in our opinion are possibly zinc examples, and there are also some wooden examples. The Cousans (Lincoln) Limited, City Organ Works was re-built in 1970 by Albert Keates, where the organ was converted to electricity. However, the pipes were left in-situ. Access to the workings of the organ via a small ladder, buyer beware, accessibility limited, none of the wooden workings or exterior panelling is too be removed. Important Information Regarding Collection - Please note, due to contractors starting scheduled work on the church, that the buyer of this lot is to arrange and dismantle respectfully by Friday 26th January. Details regarding allowed times of collection and logistics to follow, alongside the successful bidder's invoice. No viewing Available.
