A London Armoury Company 1853 Pattern Three Band Percussion Musket, .577 calibre, the 97cm rifled barrel with hinged ladder rear sight, stamped with London proof marks and double stamped L.A.C., the lock plate stamped with crowned VR, 1862/L.A.Co., the walnut full stock with brass fore-end tip, trigger guard and butt plate, the left side stamped MURCOTT 278/LONDON, the left side of the butt stamped 1863 within a roundel LONDON ARMOURY BERMONDSEY, lacks hammer, steel ramrod and sling swivels. Steel ramrod and sling swivels are missing. Pitting to metalwork. minor bruising to stock. Trigger spring is strong, but hammer is missing. Would clean up nicely.

Pitting to bore. Small ding to muzzle. Stock with bruising and some repolishing.

Rifling very crisp. Stock has been refinished. Peep sight attachment is rather crude.
