The bayonet catch would suggest a P51 but the bore and lock plate a P42.

Refinished and butt toe repaired.

KERR & CO. 54 KING WILLIAM ST E.C., further stamped LAC and with a crown over VR at the tail, full stocked with regulation brass mounts, the butt with London Armoury and Kerr stamp, steel cleaning rod, later leather sling. Retains good colour over all.

Very clean and crisp as refinished.
