Rare P61 Belgian Contract Snider Carbine .577 rifled blued barrel with side mounted bayonet bar. Top adjustable small ladder sight. Rear snider flip open action marked ÒSnider PatentÓ. Blued percussion pattern lockplate dated Ò1863Ó. The rear with crowned ÒVRÓ. Full stock polished woodwork, the butt with circular date stamp. Brass butt plate, trigger guard and end cap. The barrel secured by two blued steel barrel bands. Steel ramrod. Butt tang stamped ÒYE LT A 139Ó. Steel possibly refinished at some stage. Good clean gun.
Scarce Martini MKII Artillery Carbine .577/450 rifled blued short barrel. Top adjustable ladder sight. Blued flat side action stamped with crowned ÒVRÓ cypher over Enfield 1885. Short under lever and trigger guard. Polished front woodwork secured by two steel barrel bands, the front one with bayonet bar. Polished wooden butt with steel butt plate and sling swivel. Brass butt disk marked with crown over ÒPPGÓ. Steel ramrod. Steel possibly refinished at some stage. Good clean gun.
1853 Pattern 2nd Model Tower Rifle .577 rifled 39 inch barrel. Top mounted ladder sight. Military percussion lock with crowned VR cypher and Tower 1857. Full stocked polished woodwork. Brass butt plate, trigger guard and end cap. Three steel barrel bands all retained by steel spring clips. Recessed into the forend. Steel sling swivels fitted with a white buff leather sling. Steel ramrod. Complete with 1853 pattern socket bayonet with hollow ground blade. Steel socket with locking ring.
