Herculaneum part tea service circa 1815 of London shape painted with an imari pattern number 1276, to include five teacups, one coffee cup, five saucers, lidded teapot and stand, and a cream jug, (15) Illustrated in The Herculaneum Pottery by Peter Hyland page 148 . Condition report: three cups, and the teapot are restuck, two further cups have star cracks, there is gilt wear mainly to the rims and the tips of the handles.
A large Arita Dish, c.1690, painted in the Imari palette, with a jardinière of peony within a border of florets and karakusa, the broad rim with shi-shi and wisteria on a gilt-scrolled blue ground, much cracked and riveted, 52cm CONDITION REPORT: Broken in half, riveted throughout. Rims with gilt rubbed.
A good pair of Imari Dishes, Kangxi, early 18th century, each enamelled with poppies, peony and a lingzhi growing from a basket of fruit, the rim with further flowers, cut fruit on an ammonite scroll ground, both with underside chip, 35.2 and 34.9cm (2) 清康熙 青花矾红描金杂宝花卉纹碟一对 CONDITION REPORT: Both plates with a chip to underside of rim.
A Chinese Imari porcelain teapot, Qianlong period, the globular body painted in underglaze blue with chrysanthemum and bamboo, embellished in iron red and gilt with further flowers, height approx 9cm (cracked and chips), together with a Chinese Imari export porcelain plate, Qianlong period, painted with flowers (hairline crack to rim).
