A Japanese 19th century gilt ormolu mounted & ceramic hand painted Imari bowl. The bowl hand painted with traditional blue & red Imari motifs mounted on roped twisted ormolu framed with acanthus leaves scrolled handles. Raised on floral shaped feet united by foliate swags. Measures approx. 12cm x 21cm in diameter x 16cm.
A CHINESE IMARI BALUSTER KANGXI MUG AND A BLUE AND WHITE BRUSH POT, BITONG, IN THE TRANSITIONAL STYLE, the mug painted with bamboo and flowering shrubs within blue scroll pattern border (riveted) 12.5cm high, the brush pot painted with a dragon before terracing, palms and pine, 16.5cm high (2)The mug is extensively cracked and with riveted repairs, handle cracked and re stuck, with some chipping to rim, with losses, the brush pot is in good order, with some minor firing blemishes.
SIX 19TH-20TH CENTURY JAPANESE PORCELAIN ITEMS, to include: A Set of three Fukagawa Imari porcelain lobed dishes with floral enamel and gilt decorations, 24.3 cm and 30.5 cm; together with a rounded Imari bowl with rounded rim, 14.6 cm diameter; A blue and white stem bowl with flower, fruit and lingzhi fungus decoration, 12.5 cm high; together with a small blue and white porcelain dish with dragon decoration (6)All three Fukagawa dishes have chips and hairline cracks to the rim. Area of restoration to the outer rim of the bowl. No other visible signs of damage or restoration.
FOUR 18TH-19TH CENTURY JAPANESE IMARI ITEMS WITH FLORAL DECORATIONS, to include: A set of three lobed bowls, Meiji period, of graduating sizes: 15 cm, 17 cm and 19 cm diameter; together with an 18th century dish, 30.2 cm diameter (4)Overall good condition with no visible signs of damage or restoration.
A COLLECTION OF FOUR DUTCH DELFT PLATES AND A NORTH ITALIAN FAIENCE SMALL FLUTED CIRCULAR DISH, MID-18TH CENTURY AND SLIGHTLY LATER. The Dutch Delft plates comprising: a blue and white example painted with a chinoiserie figure before terracing, 30.2cm diam., a small blue and white plate painted with a flower-spray within lobed circular cartouche, a polychrome plate painted with a bird in flight in landscape and an Imari pattern plate with bird amongst shrubs, a small Italian faience circular dish, perhaps Faenza, decorated in the Imari palette with shrubs (5)The Italian faience small dish - some glaze crazing overall. The two polychrome Delft plates - each with restored rim chips. The larger blue and white Delft dish with Chinese figure with re stuck rim chip, approx. 2cm wide and further lesser chipping. The smaller blue and white dish - with rim chipping.

To include a Chinese Imari cup and saucer plus three other saucers with floral designs; A hexagonal lobed dish decorated with ladies and children, Qianlong export; A famille rose dish featuring a phoenix, seal mark to base; Together with a larger dish decorated with bird and flowers. Largest dish approx. 20cm. (8)Section of repair to rim of one imari dish. Glaze fault to rim of Qianlong dish. Two hairlines to two other imari dishes. Areas of enamel loss to largest dish.

Large dish 23cm diam. (5)Most items with issues. Dish with three hairlines. Tankard with areas of restoration; larger jug with handle restoration. Smaller jug with curbed hairline at rim. The bowl in good overall condition.
TWO JAPANESE IMARI SCALLOPED CIRCULAR DISHES AND A PAIR OF PLATES, 19TH CENTURY. The dishes painted with a jardiniere or basket of flowers, within panelled borders of flowering shrubs, the larger example with cranes amongst reeds, 30cm diam., the plates painted with birds, landscapes and panels of prunus, reserved against a red ground of leafy tendrils, one with iron-red six character mark, 24.5cm diam. (4)The dishes: the smaller example with a small flat chip to rim 2.5cm wide, both with some slight wear to gilding and enamels. The two plate with minor wear to enamels, one with hairline crack to rim.
Three Chinese export porcelain plates - each approx. 21.8 cm diameter, one with painted in blue and white with flowers issuing from rockwork, within a floral lappet reserve and cracked ice border; one with Imari style floral decoration; and the third a saucer dish with typical Canton enamels; together with a miniature Canton teapot (damaged & repaired lid); and a blue and white porcelain mug with beast handle, painted with a figure in a lake landscape, 9.5 cm high (cracked, repaired chip to rim)* Condition: Blue & white plate - two hairlines, two small chips and glaze frits to rim. Imari plate: Hairline to rim and some gilt wear. Canton dish: Good overall - tiny rim chip and some gilt wear. Teapot: Cover extensively damaged with glued repair and piece missing. The pot in good condition. Mug: Large filled chip to rim and large crack.

Four Flight and Barr armorial dishes, c.1810-30, the largest painted with a crest and motto 'Sperat Infestis Metuit Secundes' within a wide salmon border, one two-handled and decorated with a crest and motto 'Sortem Meam Protectit Deus' on a grey marbled ground, another with the arms of Yates impaling another within a wide Imari type border, and a single-handled dish painted with a crest of a dog holding a rose for the Wilkinson family, within a salmon ground with gilt tendrils, printed and impressed marks, some faults, 49.7cm max. A pair of Flight Barr and Barr armorial plates, c.1830, painted with a double crest beneath a banner inscribed with the motto 'Spes Nostra Deus', within wide purple and gilt vine borders, a Barr, Flight and Barr plate and a muffin dish and cover decorated with the arms for St Andrew St John, 14th Baron St John of Bletso, and another boldly decorated with a wide Imari style border around the Yates coat of arms impaling another, printed and impressed marks, 24cm max.
