A large Japanese Imari style sleeve vase, early 20th century, of flaring and cylindrical form, the top externally decorated with alternating shaped panels containing geometric design and also finches and bamboo, internally with stylised foliate decoration, the base with further conforming panel decoration, 76cm high, (a/f).
A set of six Chinese Imari bowls, Qianlong, and sundry Oriental ceramics Condition Report: Six Chinese Imari bowls: these do not appear to be an identical set. Some slight dimples to glaze, some wear to surface decoration, one bowl has 2 chips to underside of rim, one bowl has 2 slight chips to rim, two bowls have a hair crack. Two Japanese tea cups: one has hair crack running down side near handle, otherwise light surface wear. Chinese tea cup: wear to surface decoration. Tall cup: fritting to rim, firing crack to interior. Japanese plate: surface wear, quite bad in places. Modern plate: condition good. Chinese saucer decorated figures: riveted repair to one large section, surface decoration worn. Famille rose bowl: enamels worn, three hair cracks.
