A rare Worcester basket, c.1770, the well of the interior painted with the Pavilion pattern, the interior pierced sides with Imari floral panels alternating with pink sinuous dragons and further foliate sprays, the exterior applied with pink flowerheads, 19.5cm across. Exhibited: The International Ceramics Fair and Seminar 1999 Loan Exhibition, no. 77. Cf. Large and impressive Masons jar and cover, together with an Imari-coloured Victorian serving dish with lid CONDITION REPORT; Jar measures approximately 27cm high. It has crazing and wear to the paint throughout. Crack to the base. The dish and cover measures approximately 32cm wide. It has light wear to the gilding but no visible damage.
