Royal Crown Derby; a c1891-1940 Imari palette urn-shaped squat vase, pattern no.6679 and 768, height 13.5cm, an Old Imari palette trumpet-shaped vase, pattern no.1777/1128, height 8cm and a baluster twin-handled vase with cover on pedestal base, pattern no.211160, height 18cm (3). CONDITION REPORT No obvious signs of restoration, no cracks or chips.

A Worcester coffee cup and saucer, grooved handle, decorated in the Imari palette, with `Kempthorne' style with flowering prunus sprays, chrysanthemum and peony flowers, square mark, c.1768Ref: Andrew Dando Antiques.Vendor's Note: According to R.W. Binns, the story of the origin of the name comes from John Thorneloe, one of the original partners in The Worcester Porcelain Company, who went to Mullion in Cornwall to search for soapstone, finding no accommodation, he was invited to stay with Renatus Kempthorne, a local gentleman who would accept no payment for several weeks. In return Thorneloe is said to have had a special service made and sent to him using the soaprock he procured. A nice story, probably based on some facts. Condition Report: Light wear to decoration. Minor nibbles to footrim of cup.

Condition Report: Thinly potted. Scratches and some surface wear.

An Imari vase, a Japanese porcelain moulded vase, a modern Japanese baluster vase, a modern Japanese vase, various Chinese blue and white items and a part silk sleeve cuffThe sleeve is slightly grubby with fraying to the edges. No apparent damage to the embroidery. Overall in good condition. There is rubbing to the bases of all of the vases, most have light scratches to the exterior and one has a chip to the rim. The smallest vase a,so has several small chips in various locations. Multiple chips to the fish dish with pitting tot eh glaze and heavy scratches.
