A LARGE JAPANESE IMARI CHARGER 19TH CENTURY Decorated in underglaze blue, iron red and gold with two shaped panels, one containing two deer in an autumnal landscape under maple leaves, the other with boys playing mahjong, the sides with peacocks amongst flowering branches and peonies, the reverse with flowerheads, butterflies and karakusa scrolls, the base marked fuki choshun (wealth and everlasting spring), together with a wood stand, 56.8cm.
