One vase with a hairline crack running down from the rim to roughly halfway down the vase associated with a firing fault at the rim, the lid with a hairline crack up and around the dome of it, and with repaired chips and further shallow chips to the rim, the lion knop replaced. The second vase with hairline cracks around the centre, further hairline crack running down from the rim around the shoulder and another crack running off that down from roughly below the shoulder to the foot, some scratches and marks to the iron red decoration in areas, a group of various firing faults running horizontally to the shoulder of the vase, the lid with signs of repairs to minor chips in the rim, the knop repaired, possibly areas replaced.
