A 19th/20th century Japanese Imari five piece service, comprising; a handled ewer and cover, 15.5cm high, and four teacups, each piece typically decorated in the imari palette, along with a Chinese blue and white vase and cover, Kangxi four character mark, of high shouldered form decorated with prunus blossoms, cover with moulded kylin finial, 32.5cm high (at fault) CONDITION REPORT: Japanese service - Ewer with glaze chip to cover. Exterior spout area with stained hairline cracks with further small areas of crazing to body. Two cups with chips to rim. One cup with hairline crack to base of handle. Gilt wear and pitting to each piece. Vase- Cover neck with section missing. Neck of vase with two large chips, stained hairline cracks and star cracks. Pitted (AT FAULT)
An 18th century Japanese Imari dish, of scalloped shell shape decorated with floral sprays, 16.5cm wide, along with a 19th century Japanese Imari circular plate, centrally decorated with flowers in a vase surrounded by floral vignettes, scalloped rim, 22cm diameter CONDITION REPORT: Scalloped tray - Rim with multiple glaze nibbles. Fritting and pitting throughout. Glaze chips. Plate- Some gilt wear. Minor pitting. Kiln marks verso.
A collection of Chinese porcelains, to include a famille rose punch bowl, 23cm diameter, two bullet shaped tea pots (one with associated cover), a prunus pattern ginger jar and cover etc, with a carved soap stone spill vase group of monkeys (at fault) CONDITION REPORT: Punch bowl - large stained crack with staple repair running through body from either edge. Some enamel and surface wear. Imari Teapot and cover - handle broken in sections and re-glued. Cover finial chipped. Other teapot and cover- Cover rim chipped. Base of handle with stained hairline crack and chipped. Pr of famille rose plates - Each restored/ broken and re-glued with enamel wear, chips, nibbles and wear. Twin lugged blue and white server- one lug broken off. Stained hairline cracks throughout.Etc all items showing signs of wear, some chips, and surface scratches.
