Lot 41
A garniture of three lidded vessels, with plated mounts, Imari colours. Height of pair 5.5 ins. CONDITION REPORT: The odd vase out has very little gilding left but is in generally good order having one minor chip to the bottom approximately 1 mm x 2 mm. The first vase with lid has rubbed gilding and has a chip to the bottom 10 mm x 7 mm. The other has rubbed gilding and a chip to the base approximately 7 mm x 4 mm. There is a possibility that these vases may have had tall stems at some point and been reduced in height. If you lift the metal liners out there is chipping all around the top where something has been smoothed/taken away?
