Imari pattern porcelain fluted circular, with floral reserves in typical palette, bearing character reign mark, 4.75" diameter (hairline); Provincial Chinese 18th century porcelain blue and white shallow dish 6.25" diameter; also an 18th century Chinese blue and white side plate, 6.5" (hairline) (3)--** Provenance - From the Estate of Mr Roy Moodie by descent, who had a fascinating and successful banking career with the Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation in the 1950s. It was this time spent in the far east that encouraged his love and lifelong interest in Chinese artifacts, especially blue and white porcelain, jade and furniture *this lot has had one item withdrawn - all now correct in the image and has three items as listed.

A small collection of late 18th century Chinese porcelain, comprising a famille rose cup and saucer, decorated with floral sprays in pinks, purple, green and orange, the saucer measuring 4 5/8in. (11.8cm.) diameter; together with two further famille rose floral decorated cups; and a pair of Imari cups, decorated in typical colours with garden setting with trellis fencing, highlighted in gilt, 2 7/8in. (7.5cm.) high. (6) *The saucer with tiny chip to outer rim, other pieces with rubbing to gilt highlights etc.
