A pair of early 19th century Derby porcelain imari and gilt decorated pot pourri vases, of squat form, with pierced rims and applied masks, raised on four paw feet upon quatrefoil bases, red coronet over D painted marks to bases, the lids with pierced rim and floral bud lift. Height 15cm.Condition report: Vase 1:There is a lot of black pitting to the base of the knop with further pitting visible to the lid, slight internal crazing. The gilt green man masks are slightly worn to the uppermost point.Vase 2:The cover has restoration to the pierced section of the edge, some pitting, internally slightly crazed and a rough blemish, some gilt rubbing.
