19th Century Mintons 'Merrion Japan' Dinner service decorated in the Imari pallet Condition Report Tea Plates - 1 has a small nibble to the edge. 1 has a shallow chip to border.Dinner Plates - 1 has a chip to the border. 3 have nibbles to the edges. Small tureen - chip to lid border. Side Plates - 1 has a chip to the border.Shallow bowls - Most have small chips to edges. All pieces have some signs of wear, including wear to paint work, knife and fork marks and crazing.
A Royal Vienna style porcelain figure of Autumn, underglaze blue beehive mark, 37cm high, a double mask beaker, modelled as Janus, the Roman spirit of the door, 14cm high, a florally encrusted ewer, 26cm high and a William Brownfield Parian jug, decorated with two panels of classical scenes, 23cm high, a large Continental majolica figural candlestick, modelled as a warrior standing beside a column, and raised on rams head and cherub decorated ornate base, 54cm high along with, a Phoenix Ware ginger jar and cover decorated with peacocks. 23cm high and a collection of four English porcelain imari decorated soup bowls, 25cm diameter (10) (at fault)
A Japanese Imari octagonal baluster jar and cover. With moulded panel collar and painted with a landscape incorporating a fence and peonies, c. 1700, 27.5cm (2). Condition Report. To be used as a guide only. Finial chipped at the tip and re attached. Section of the covers rim stapled. Chip to the collar.
A collection of assorted Royal Crown Derby; a teapot and cover pattern 2451 date code for 1891, a cream jug, sugar bowl, teacup, saucer and side plate 2451, four Imari pattern side plates, a sugar bowl, cup and saucer and lobed square dish all pattern 1128, an unusual Imari pattern small teacup & saucer, a pierce handled Imari dish, two late Imari style cups & saucers (2nds), an Imari coffee can and saucer, and a teacup and saucer with delicate chains of flowers under a yellow border date code for 1909 (26). Condition Report. To be used as a guide only. One 1128 side plate does not ring but no damage detected. A.1296 (and similar) all four marked for 2nds. All other pieces free from damage and 1st quality.
