An 18thC Chinese Imari punch bowl, the exterior decorated with flowers, the inside with floral banding and a central floral cartouche, all in blue, red and orange, 27cm Dia. There is no apparent damage or restoration upon initial inspection, but note internal paint wear and scuffing and foot with a firing fault.
A Japaneseiece three piece Imari garniture comprising two trumpet vases and a lidded baluster jar, decorated with panels of shish among flowers, predominately in orange and blue with gilt highlights, 27cm H. (3,1 AF) There is no apparent damage or restoration upon initial inspection to the cylindrical vases noting gilt rubbing to rims, the vase cover appears to be in good order, but the vase itself has one semi circular re-glued section which is in two parts around the neck.
An extensive Spode Imari tea set, comprising of ten coffee cans, eight tea cups, eleven saucers, slop bowl, creamers and two saucer dishes, c1810, marked Spode 1495. (33) There is no apparent damage or restoration upon initial inspection with the exception of a single cup with riveted repair around the handle and other various but minor rubbing of the gilt.
A CHINESE DOUCAI PORCELAIN GINGER JAR AND COVER, decorated with sprigs of fruit and foliage, bears six character mark of Yongzheng within concentric circles, 11cm; together with A CHINESE LOTUS-SHAPED BOWL, decorated with figures, 14cm; and ANOTHER CHINESE BOWL, decorated in an Imari palette, 15cm. (3)Each piece in very good condition without damage.
A COALPORT PORCELAIN VASE, painted by Ball with a titled view of Loch Earn, retailed by Townsend, Newcastle on Tyne, 17.5cm; together with A GROUP OF ROYAL CROWN DERBY IMARI COFFEE CANS AND SAUCERS, comprising eight cups and twelve saucers, with impressed and iron red printed marks.Three cups cracked.One saucer chipped.
A 19th Century Japanese Meiji Period Arita ware Imari porcelain vase. Hand decorated with large white cartouche panels depicting birds, flowers and trees having cobalt borders. The vase having a tapered neck with flared circular rim. Further painted flowers to the inside of rim. Remains of painted marks to base. Measures: 38cm tall.
