Large Japanese Imari bottle vase Large Japanese vase, of compressed balustre form, painted with an an imari palette with a basket of flora and leaves below a tall paneled neck with gilt and white mons, Meiji period 1868 - 1912.49cm highThe vase is free from damage or restoration. There are some firing cracks to the body which have been covered over by decoration when the vase created. The gilding has worn from polishing especially around the neck but also in within the main body of the decoration.
