A GROUP OF FOUR MINIATURE PORCELAIN ITEMSChina and Austria, 17th - 19th century. The first a baluster vase, dating to around 1690 and coming from the famous Vung Tao Cargo, with a domed cover, painted in underglaze blue depicting a floral arrangement. The second a 19th century Imari imitation porcelain bowl of Austrian origin bearing the imperial double-headed eagle marking it as part of the Japanese dining set used at the Imperial court. The exterior painted in underglaze blue and overglaze iron-red and gold, with a composition of flowers, leaves and foliated scrolls, the interior depicting a temple. The third a 17th - 18th century blue and white cup with a barbed rim, depicting different sceneries of a figure in a naturalistic landscape. The last a 17th - 18th century blue and white dish with a barbed rim, depicting charming village scenes. Condition: Overall good condition with minor surface wear, and manufacturing irregularities. The vase with tiny chips to the foot and to the rim of the cover. The cup with minor nibbling to the lip. Provenance: Estate of an Austrian collector, the collection was assembled in the 1980s - 1990s through purchases at Galerie Zacke and other specialized galleries in Vienna. With old labels to the bases of the vase, cup and the dish. All items with general age-related wear and surface marks, but no obvious or major further damage.

An extensive Spode New Stone imari dinner service, circa 1815 - 25, pattern 4043, comprising thirty-one dinner plates24.5cm diameter;twenty side plates20cm diameter;twelve soup bowls24cm diameter;two circular tureens and covers, 24cm diameter;a large tureen, cover and stand37cm diameter;a rectangular tureen and cover34cm widea small tureen, cover and stand18.5cm diameter;Two shaped rectangular disheslargest 28cm wide;nine canted rectangular serving disheslargest 52cm wide (87)rubbing to the decoration, gilt and glaze throughout, commensurate with age and use. Scratching to the glaze throughout commensurate with use. All plates have chipping to the decoration around the inner rim, where they have been stacked. of the larger. 8 dinner plates with chipping to the rim and hairline fractures. 3 side plates with chips out of the rim, largest approx 3cm. all soup bowls appear fine. Small tureen with cover has a hairline crack on the lid and tureen, as well as a spider crack to the interior. One of the circular tureens has a crack underneath the handle on the lid. Large tureen, handle detached with old repair but still present. Hairline crack across the body. Two serving dishes missing their gilding completely. Covered rectangular tureen has craquelure to the body. More notable chipping to the decoration across the larger serving plates. Meat plate with crack to the inside of one leg

A Chinese porcelain famile verte bowl, 18th century, the exterior decorated with flowering peonies and chrysanthemums upon a rocky outcrop against a straw coloured ground, the interior imari decorated to the base, the underside with a ribbon and book mark, 20cm diameter (at fault)Condition Report; Rim descending hairline approx 4cm long. Stained scratching to the interior and exterior throughout. Pitting can also be seen along with surface staining. No obvious signs of restoration.
A large Mason's Patent Ironstone China vase and cover circa 1813-1820, of high shouldered tapering, hexagonal form, decorated throughout in the imari palette depicting flowering peonies and chrysanthemums within a fence and bridge pattern, the pagoda shaped cover surmounted by three scaly mythical beasts, inside cover rim impressed twice 'Mason's Patent Ironstone China' in one line, and two old collection labels (at fault) 82cm high Condition report: The piece shows minor losses to the enamel, small frits and pits throughout, and a hairline crack to the lid of the vase. No other signs of obvious damage and restoration.
