A Coalport imari twin-handled cabaret service, circa 1880, with butterfly handles, comprising a tray, 45cm wide, teapot and cover, sucrier and cover, cream jug and four quatrefoil cups and saucers, printed factory marks (tray badly cracked, foot ring broken off one cup)Provenance: Ivor Southorn Collection.Condition:Tray badly cracked. The foot ring on one saucer is broken. Another saucer is badly stained. One cup had a shallow rim nibble, another has a fleabite and two hairlines. The cream jug handle has been broken and cleanly restuck. Teapot with long body crack and a glaze scratch to the spout. The interior of the teapot looks to have restoration to try and stop the body crack getting worse.No other damages or repairs. See images.
