AN ARITA BLUE AND WHITE JAR painted with lilies beneath a band of flower heads and scrolling foliage, above a geometric band, signed, 28cm high, a pair of Imari preserve jars, covers and fixed stands, 17cm diameter, two Chinese export sugar bowls, 14 and 15cm diameter and an export vase underglaze blue and polychrome with chrysanthemums, insects and scattered flowers, 18cm high (6) Condition Report: loss of glaze to collar. hairline cracks from rim to mid centre of vase . Imari preserves crudley repaired to base rim both with rim chips. the larger bowl with hairline and worn interior. the vase with foot rim chip.
19th Century Masons Ironstone Imari pattern, two octagonal jugs with serpent handle, 18cm, and a very large pitcher similar, 32 cm. Smallest jug: various losses to paint on handle, pitting around the spout. Small jug 2: losses to paint on handle, overpainting of gilt to the rim. Large jug: some paint losses to both handles and minor paint losses to body, multiple surface marks. No other damage found. Please see ewbanks.co.uk for condition reports and further images
