An intriguing slim album of photographs of two women - probably sisters - from childhood circa 1880's to middle-age 1922, depicting their domestic life, wearing costumes, posing for dramatic scenes, etc., to/w an Elizabeth II coronation small tapestry by Brockleburst-Whiston of Macclesfield, 7.5 x 14.5 cm and a floral needlework panel with hand-written label on reverse 'Fitz-William Museum, Cambridge' 65 x 61 cm, a signed photograph of Myra Hess, a small mixed album of cigarette cards, including ships, sportsmen, etc. (5)
A 19th century Rosewood framed and glazed tapestry sampler worked by Hannah Woods 1809 in a design with central large house, deer, trees, birds and animals within trailing leaf boarder, paper label to reverse dated 1835. CONDITION REPORT: One hole bottom right. V minor holes by bottom right of house and by top left of house. Some loss to original frame. Paper inscription of family details to reverse. Sampler measurements 44.5cm x 34cm.
