A modern tapestry depicting deer in a cage surrounded by flowers on a blue ground, together with a modern pennant of terracotta and gold colour, bearing armorial crests CONDITION REPORTS This is a Unicorn in a cage and not a deer. Measures approx 132 cms x 88 cms. One area of fading or staining behind the Unicorn's rump. Several white marks to the right hand side and the red ground tapestry is approx 137 cms x 54 cms. General slight worn patches, slight fading, both items general signs of wear and tear throughout
A late 19th century walnut tapestry armchair, with urn and foliate back and stuffover seat and with exposed moulded showframe. Width across arms 63.5 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The chair is structurally very solid with only very minor movement at the joints. All woodwork is in good condition with no damage, repairs or restoration. The colour is good and there is no evidence of any woodworm. The upholstery to both the seat and back panel is tired and worn and there are perforations and perishing. The webbing and Hessian backing is also beginning to perish. There is no cover to the rear of the chair. Really reupholstery is required.
A Victorian Berlin woolwork panel, "The Last Supper". 45 cm x 43 cm, in maple frame. CONDITION REPORT: The frame has age related dents etc but is still in good hangable order. The tapestry itself has some holes to the gentleman seated at the front left. Through the darker section of his cloak is a hole approximately 7 cm in length this has been put back together, below this is another hole approximately 5 cm in length and again to the back of his head is another repaired hole approximately 3 cm in length.
A 19th century Berlin woolwork panel. 59 cm x 51 cm, in maple frame. CONDITION REPORT: The frame has age related dents etc to the edge. To the top right hand corner there is a section of timber which is missing approximately 8 cm in length. The tapestry itself is in good order with good colours and no signs of any moth damage.
