A late 17th century Flemish walnut and tapestry open armchair rectangular back and seat covered in needlework tapestry, swept leaf carved scroll arms, on turned legs united by a high front stretcher and conforming H understretcher, on lion paw forelegsheight 107 cm., width 64 cm., depth 68 cm.Condition: Tapestry has age. Good colour to walnut, some old worm, minor chips and and losses to stretchers. Old repair to back rear foot. Beech seat rails possibly later
A 17th century carved oak Wainscot armchair the rectangular geometric carved panelled back with scroll carved crest rail, having downswept arms on baluster supports, boarded seat and guilloche and dentil carved seat rails, on baluster turned forelegs with block feet united by outer stretchers, fitted tapestry covered seat cushionheight 109 cm., width 61 cm., depth 59 cm.Condition: Crack to back panel and replacement patch to bottom left hand corner, some shrinkage to crack. Some later elements, notably blocks to underside of seat, old glue to side joints and and rails. Rear left joint has repair with filler. Spliced repair to rear left leg.

Vintage woollen red ground Welsh tapestry blanket with fringed edges and 'Brynkir Made in Wales from pure new wool' label. Together with a narrow Welsh tapestry table runner with one fringed edge in the same pattern.
