A set of eight (6&2) late 19th century mahogany dining chairs in a Regency style with pierced splat backs and raised on square tapered legs with spade feet, all with individually handworked tapestry seats (a note is stitched to the base of one seat explaining it was worked by Mrs Muntz and the seats produced between 1935 & 1937, finished April 14th - she goes on to give an opinion on the shock of Edward VIII's abdication and the preparations underway for the Coronation of George VI)
