Judging by the label, this rug was a prototype design, intended to guide buyers as to potential rugs that could be commissioned in different colours. A PAIR OF UPHOLSTERED SOFAS IN THE MANNER OF HOWARD & SONS 20TH CENTURY Possibly by George Smith 88cm high, 188cm wide, 90cm deep Together with nine machine tapestry throw cushions Condition Report: Structurally sound and ready for use. Minor marking to the stained beech legs, minor loss of varnish and wear to the legs. The legs appear to be structurally sound, however with minor movement. All four front legs rotate and would benefit from being tightened. The upholstery is generally clean, however there are some marks and areas of staining, particularly to the seat cushions, some surface dirt marks. One seat cushion zip is not working properly. The height from floor to top of seat cushion is approximately 55cm high. There is no makers name or plaque to the underside. The nine machine tapestry cushions are in clean, undamaged condition.Condition Report Disclaimer
