A Wedgwood blue jasper candlestick, 19th c, 15.5cm h, the circular base moulded in low relief with a frieze of bellhusks, impressed WEDGWOOD, another, late 18th/early 19th c, of silver shape, 14.7cm h, a pearl ware dwarf candelstick, 10.6cm h, impressed PEARL, (3) The first good, slight pitting and grime, stable firing stresses. The second with a chipped base, but standing well. The pearl ware example restored.

Two 19th century & later continental candlestick holders. One being a 19th century French leaf pattern candlestick, the other one being a 20th century European brass lady holding an urn which in turn holds the candle. French leaf candlestick measures approx. 21cm tall and the lady candlestick 6cm tall. All lots in this auction are part of a private collection of antiquities and later effect, mainly collecting Roman, Viking, Egyptian and Asian antiques. The collection having been amassed over a 30-40 year period. The items in the auction has been purchased at various auction, private collections and museums over the years.
