A RARE AUSTRIAN ARTS AND CRAFTS WHITE METAL CANDLESTICK designed by Josef Hoffmann (1870-1956) for the Weiner Werkstatte having a circular dished bowl with everted rim and angular strap handle and cylindrical stem with embossed beaded band, the domed circular base with matchbook holder, stamped with Wiener Werkstatte marks and Josef Hoffmann monogram below. 20cm(h) Slight knocks to rim, tarnishing and oxidation, inspection recommended.
