An African lot to include five carved figurines to include a stork, warrior, lady etc, a pair of metal trumpet vases, a metal candlestick in the form of a snake and two metal doorstop figurines of Doctor Leander Starr Jameson or 'Doctor Jim' on horseback, each marked 'Dr Jim 1550' and reg no.281239, possibly dating the piece to 1896, suggesting that the figure was made during his imprisonment at the time of the uprising with an invasion of the Transvaal.
