An unusual Brannam pottery figural candlestick, by Thomas Liverton, and modelled as the figure of a girl with long brown hair in predominantly yellow, with the hem of her dress decorated with blue flowers in tube-lined slip, she holds the candle sconce in both hands, 18.5cm. high, factory marks, artist's monogram and dated 1903.
A Galle faience chamber candlestick, the almost heart-shaped drip pan decorated in shallow relief with a twig and leaf flanking the sconce against a shaded brown and mauve ground and having a grotesque elephantine mask handle edged with interrupted egg and dart bands and gilding, 23cm. long, signed 'Emile Galle, Nancy' , 'depose' and 'EG' with cross of Lorraine. A Liberty & Co 'English Pewter' chamber candlestick, designed by Archibald Knox, of almost circular shape with stylised plant-form decoration terminating with copper 'buds' (once possibly enamelled), the strap handle extending to form part of the sconce, 18cm. long, marked 'English Pewter' and numbered '0525'.
A Fukien type candlestick, the slender tapering stem with drip pan and three points, the base as a dish with high slightly flared sides, 25.5cm, 17th century; and a bowl with flared rim and recessed base, covered in a white glaze, 15cm, 17th century.
