An early Victorian silver Renaissance design chamberstick by Charles Thomas Fox & George Fox. The candlestick surround with a scrolling foliate design, the handle with classical figures and a lion's head. Inscription to the base, dated 1857. Hallmarked: CTFGF, London, 1849. L.30. Weight 473g.
