A brass candlestick, Capstan type, North West Europe, 2nd half 16th century. The slightly tapered candle mouth is pierced with rectangular suction holes and has a profiled top and bottom edge, the drip tray has a slightly arched middle, the foot is thickly cast and has a widened foot rim, h 13 x Ø 13.5 cm.
A brass button candlestick with bell, Southern Netherlands, 15th century. The cylindrical mouthpiece with two rectangular openings, the stem with button, wide round drip trayand a bell-shaped base with an ironclapper inside, h 18.5 x Ø 8 cm (provenance: Christies 10/3/ 1998, Lit. Lear No. 79).

Total weight approx 236g. Largest measures approx 14cm.
A Georgian hallmarked silver chamber stick / candlestick saucer with matching snuffer, together with silver plated wick scissors. The candle stick to a serpentine petal like saucer having gadrooned borders throughout, scrolling handle with feather thumb rest & lion with cross motif etched to one side, hallmarked for London 1770, makers mark for C.B. Together with a matching snuffer (tests indicate silver) & a replacement silver plated white metal pair of wick scissors. Total weight excluding scissors approx 255.3g. Measures approx 13cm.

Rubbed, missing parts and restorations (e.g. the leg of the cupid with skirt), signs of age.

Candlestick is dirty, with various small chips around the edges. It is roughly made, so not too noticeable.
