Nautilus Porcelain part tea service (Possil Pottery, Glasgow) comprising six side plates, six saucers, six cups, biscuit plate and sugar bowl, decorated with colourful floral panels on a blush ground, gilt border, marked Nautilus Porcelain in orange to the underside, also a similar Nautilus Porcelain candlestick. (21)CONDITION REPORT: There is crazing to the underside of most pieces. There is a crack/repair to the underside of three cups. There is age-related fading to the gilding, mainly to the saucers. There is a minor chip to the rim of one saucer. There are prominent scratches to the gilding on the well of the saucers and to the interior of the cups. There is age-related staining to most pieces.
