Pair of Art Deco uranium green moulded glass candle sticks decorated with female figures on a naturalistic base. Height 19cm approx. (2) (B.P. 21% + VAT) One of the candlesticks is broken around the middle area and her wrists, there is a large chip and other chips to the base of the other candlestick.
A PAIR OF UNUSUAL VIENNA PORCELAIN CANDLESTICKS (2)19th centuryOf inverted trumpet form, each raised on three gilt paw feet and circular green and gilt base, painted in Limoges enamels style with sphinxes, griffins and grotesques against a black ground, blue painted shield mark, impressed 811, 20.5cm highEach with some chips, mostly small, around the edge of the drip pan. One candlestick has a very fine haircrack/glaze crack to the rim of the nozzle and a shallow chip around the top edge of the base, approx. 1cm by 0.7cm. The other candlestick with three shallow chips to the underside of the footrim, the largest approx. 1cm. by 0.5cm. Some minor wear to the gilding overall

It has not been possible to remove all three sconces to check marks from the top, presumably stuck in by candle wax.
