An Elizabeth II silver three branch candelabra, consisting of single candlestick with knopped stem and circular footed base, detachable branched candelabrum with three sconces and drip trays, hallmarked by William Comyns & Sons, London, 1971, on weighted base, approx. 25.4cm high x 31.8cm wide. Weight of removable branched area approx. 411.5 grams (13.2ozt) Further details: all drip trays with slight dents or wear; whole piece slightly misshapen; dents to top of single candlestick; surface tarnishing, scratching and general wear.
A Chinese Qianlong enamel inkstand, the main pen compartment with hinged cover decorated in famille rose colours with a scene of figures in a garden, with fitted recesses for pounce pot, candlestick and inkwell, with removable liner and lid, the whole painted with leaves and flowers and pink floral ground borders. With original John Sparks retail box. 22 cm wide, 13.5 cm deep. Provenance: John Sparks, London. Purchased by the vendors in the late 1960s. This piece was loaned by the vendors to be included in an exhibition of Chinese Painted Enamel at the Ashmolean Museum in Oxford in 1978, curated by Michael Gillingham.

Selection of Wemyss pottery incl. candlestick, inkwell with dolphins, cherry decorated inkwell, plate and tankard, max H25cm. All of these items are damaged, broken or restored in some way, usually in the form of hairline cracks.
