A pair of large late Victorian hallmarked silver Shabbat candlesticks with floral embossed decoration, London 1900, height 37.5cm, approx 34ozt (2).Additional InformationBoth sets of marks are clear. Both sconces are dented and misshapen. Both columns stand at a slight angle, one more so than the other. General wear with surface scratches, nicks and surface indentations. Some of these are quite pronounced, particularly to the bases and lower sections. Some of the sections, particularly to the base are getting quite thin from years of polishing. Also one of the candlestick bases has a pronounced dent and crimp which will need attention. Further dirt, tarnish and residual polish.
